## From design to prototype

In this hands-on session, **Juuso Kantonen (UX Designer at Vaadin)** takes a real Figma mockup and turns it into running Vaadin UI code using two complementary approaches: **Vaadin Copilot** and a **Figma MCP server**. You’ll learn the end-to-end workflow, how to apply each approach in real projects, and how to keep design and code aligned.

 

Here’s what we’ll explore:

- How to go from Figma frames to Vaadin views with minimal manual wiring
- Applying Vaadin Copilot and an MCP server in real projects (separately or together)
- Handling tokens, assets, and component mappings the right way
- Best practices for keeping code in sync as designs evolve
